Kitchen Manager

Position Overview:
Korean Central Presbyterian Church located in Centreville, VA is hiring a Kitchen Manager. The position is responsible for operating and maintaining the kitchen and for coordinating meals and refreshments that require the use of the Kitchen.

Job responsibilities

Manage kitchen staffs and volunteers, and coordinate food preparation
Prepare and provide meals and refreshments as needed and supervise cooking
Order food supplies and kitchen equipment as needed
Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area in compliance with relevant policies, procedures and regulations
Operate the kitchen within acceptable budget parameters.
Work with ministry leaders to ensure that ministry needs are met

Qualifications

A baptized believer of Jesus Christ, upholding a close and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
Proven work experience as a kitchen manager or a head chef
Hands-on experience with planning menus and ordering ingredients and supplies
Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations
Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends
Certification from a culinary school or degree in restaurant management is a plus
Bilingual (Korean-English)
