It really is a great year to start. Praise the Lord!
I praise God for His greatness. “Lord, I thank You for Your mercy, Your compassion, and Your unfailing love. You hear every prayer, and You answer according to Your perfect will. You are Almighty God, worthy of all honor and praise.” I also want to thank you for your prayers and support. Your partnership means more than you know. Without your encouragement and faithfulness, I could not carry out these ministries. I am truly grateful.
I recently attended our second camp in DR, where we trained ten more disciples under a very strict schedule. Every morning at 6 a.m., we knelt on hard floors for 30 minutes of Korean-style prayer, followed by devotion to hear His voice. The whole experience felt like spiritual military training.
From the very first day, the devil was not happy. Our van got stuck in the mud, and without Wi-Fi it was difficult to get help. M. Peter and I ended up walking to the destination. The worst part was stepping into streams of sewer water—my feet and even my new shoes were soaked in it. The smell was awful. M. Peter walked behind me singing, “How lovely are the feet of those who bring good news…” I knew he was trying to encourage me, but still… the water was filled with things I’ll let you imagine. As I walked, I prayed, “For You, God, I am willing.”
When we finally arrived, we sent all the male students to pull the minivan out of the mud, and they were splashed head to toe. I asked the Lord, “Why this?” and He spoke to my heart: This is the situation of the Haitians in the DR. Their lives are stuck in the mud—unable to move forward or backward—living in trash. In that moment, I understood. Only through Jesus Christ can they be lifted out, cleansed, and made new. The Holy Spirit confirmed my responsibility as a camp leader, and I poured out all my strength, mind, and heart during the camp.
On January 31, B2M (M. Peter and Anne’s mission foundation) held its very first seminary graduation. By God’s grace, 37 students completed their training and received their certificates. Although 64 seminarians were enrolled, only 37 were able to graduate on January 31, 2026—but each one stood as a testimony of God’s transforming work.
We also held a send‑off ceremony for four missionaries and their families—13 people in total—who are returning to their nation, Haiti, to serve the Lord. It was a deeply moving moment to see them commissioned and blessed.
God brought so many people to celebrate this historic day. Six local church senior pastors came to congratulate their members who studied at the seminary. Seven Korean missionaries and pastors also joined us. One church from Toronto sent 26 senior members and their pastor to honor the graduates. They generously provided scholarships for every graduating student and for the three missionary families. Each missionary family received $1,000. They were blessed abundantly.
I was given the opportunity to share an encouraging word with the graduates, and the Lord led me to Joshua 1:8–9. The entire worship service was filled with God’s presence, and I knew the Holy Spirit was pleased. God continues to use JPM (Joshua Project Ministries) as we sign their certificates and support their calling. The Lord is expanding JPM’s influence internationally, and we give Him all the glory.
February 2 was a historic day. At 5 a.m., we gathered to pray over the four missionaries God has chosen to send back to their nation, Haiti—a nation devastated by gang violence and instability. As we laid hands on them, I had to hold back my tears. I blessed Leonel, Bellizare, Joubin, and Darlene, and I surrendered them to Jesus. Their lives are in God’s hands.
M. Peter, P. Juan, and Isaac drove the four missionaries to the Haiti border to send them off. These four completed two full years of seminary training. For the first camp, M. Peter selected the twelve strongest seminarians for an intensive two‑week missionary training. After interviewing each one, he chose three to form the first missionary team to Haiti.
Throughout the camp, God revealed His plan to us day after day through the book of Nehemiah. Just as Nehemiah rebuilt the broken walls of Jerusalem, God is raising these missionaries to rebuild spiritual walls in Haiti. This is only the beginning. In His time, God will send a second team to Haiti as well.
They passed through several checkpoints without any problems. Praise the Lord!
Their relatives met them at the border, and from there they continued their journey on motorcycles, carrying all their luggage. For now, they have the freedom to travel within Haiti—so long as gang members are not present in those areas.
These four missionaries now face the enormous task of finding land to build a church, a home, a farm, and a school. Haiti has so little infrastructure that nearly everything must be imported from the Dominican Republic—concrete, food, even chickens. Once they temporarily settle, they will bring their families—nine people in total, including a one‑year‑old baby girl.
M. Peter will continue to stay in contact with them and send support—money, concrete, chickens, food—until they can stand independently. Right now, all foreign missionaries have left Haiti, but God gave M. Peter a vision to train Haitians and send them back to their own nation. I am so grateful to be part of training these original Haitian missionaries. Their favorite song is “Deep, deep, oh deep down down, deep down in my heart.” We sang it constantly. They also memorized “Take My Life,” “The Old Rugged Cross,” and “I Gave My Life for Thee.”
They texted us that the very first thing they did upon arriving was kneel down and pray—giving Haiti to God. That message touched my heart deeply.
I am crying and crying for these baby missionaries. I know the hardships they will face. I know the spiritual battles ahead. But I also know that God Himself will train them, protect them, and strengthen their faith. I am so blessed to have met them, trained them, and lived with them.
I give all the glory to God. Thank you for your prayers.
Building a church in Haiti costs about $30,000, and I am praying that many churches will rise across the nation through these missionaries. I also ask for your prayers. After giving my whole strength, mind, and heart during this mission, I feel completely drained. Please pray for my full recovery and for strength to carry out my duties back in the USA.

기도와 헌금해 주신 교회와 성도님께 감사드립니다. 성도님의 격려와 도움이 없이는 이 사역을 수행할 수 없었습니다. 진심으로 감사드립니다. 매일매일 성도님의 기도로 선교훈련을 잘 마쳤습니다.
저는 최근 도미니카공화국에서 두 번째 캠프(1/20-1/30)를 진행했습니다. 매우 엄격한 일정 아래 열 명의 제자들을 훈련시켰습니다. 매일 아침 6시에 강의실 바닥에 무릎을 꿇고 30분간 한국식 통성기도를 하였고, 이어서 느혜미야 말씀을 통해 성령의 음성을 듣는 시간을 가졌습니다. 영적인 군사를 만드는 훈련이었습니다.
첫날부터 악마는 기쁘지 않았죠. 우리 밴이 진흙에 빠졌고, 와이파이가 없어서 도움을 구하기도 어려웠습니다. Peter 선교사님과 저는 결국 목적지까지 걸어갔습니다. 가장 힘들었던 건 퍼붓는 하수구 물줄기에 발을 넣고 새 신발조차 그 물에 흠뻑 젖으면서 걷는 때도 있었습니다. 냄새가 끔찍했어요. Peter 선교사님은 제 뒤를 따라 걸으며 “복음들고 산을 넘는자들의 발길…아름답고도 아름답도다…”라고 노래했습니다. 저를 격려하셨죠, 그래도… 그 물에서는 악취가 났습니다. 걸으면서 기도했습니다, “하나님, 당신을 위해서라면 이것도 기꺼이 하겠습니다.”
마침내 저희는 도착했고,모든 남학생들에게 진흙에서 미니밴을 끌어내달라고 도움을 청했고, 그들은 도우면서 머리부터 발끝까지 진흙을 흠뻑 뒤집어썼습니다. 저는 주님께 “왜 이래야만 하는 건가요?”라고 물었을 때, 주님께서 제 마음에 말씀하셨습니다. 이것이 바로 도미니카공화국에 사는 아이티인들의 상황이다. 그들의 삶은 진흙탕에 갇혀 앞으로도 나아가지 못하고 뒤로도 뺄 수 없어, 쓰레기 속에서 살고 있다. 그 순간, 나는 이해하게 되었습니다. 오직 예수 그리스도를 통해서만 그들은 건져 올려지고, 씻겨지며, 새롭게 될 수 있습니다. 성령님께서 캠프 리더로서의 저의 책임을 확인해 주셨고, 캠프 기간 동안 저는 제 모든 힘과 마음과 뜻을 쏟아부었습니다.

저는 졸업생들에게 격려의 말씀을 나눌 기회가 있어서 여호수아 1장 8절부터 9절을 나누었습니다. 예배 전체가 하나님의 임재로 가득 차 있었고, 성령님께서 기뻐하신다는 것을 알았습니다. 하나님께서는 우리가 그들의 증서에 서명하고 그들의 부르심을 지지할 때 계속해서 JPM(조슈아 프로젝트)을 사용하시고 있었습니다. 주님께서 JPM의 영향력을 국제적으로 확장하고 계시고, 우리는 모든 영광을 그분께 돌립니다.
2월2일은 역사적인 날이었습니다. 오전 5시에 우리는 자신들의 본국 아이티로 보내도록 하나님께 선택된 네 명의 선교사들을 위해 모여 기도했습니다. 아이티는 갱단 폭력과 불안정으로 황폐해진 나라입니다. 기도하는순간, 저는 흐르는 눈물을 참아야 했습니다. 저는 레오넬, 벨리자레, 주빈, 달린을 축복했고, 그들을 예수님께 맡겼습니다. 그들의 생명은 하나님의 손에 달려 있습니다.
피터 선교사님, 후안목사님, 그리고 이삭은 네 명의 선교사를 아이티 국경까지 배웅했습니다. 이 네 명은 신학교 교육을 2년간 받았습니다. 첫 캠프에서 피터 선교사님은 가장 강인한 12명의 신학생을 선발하여, 집중적인 2주간의 선교 훈련을 실시했습니다. 각 선교사를 인터뷰한 후, 네 명을 선정해 아이티 최초의 선교사 팀을 구성했습니다. 캠프 내내 하나님은 느헤미야서를 통해 매일 우리에게 그분의 계획을 드러내셨습니다. 느헤미야가 예루살렘의 무너진 성벽을 다시 세우셨듯이, 하나님께서는 이 선교사들을 일으켜서 아이티의 영적 성벽을 다시 세우고 계십니다. 이것은 시작에 불과합니다. 하나님의 때가 되면 아이티에 두 번째 팀을 보내실 것입니다.
그들은 여러 검문소를 무사히 통과했습니다. 주님을 찬양합니다!
그들의 친척들이 국경에서 그들을 맞이했고, 그들은 오토바이에 모든 짐을 싣고 여행을 계속했습니다. 현재는 갱단원이 아이티 내에 거주하지 않는 한, 아이티 내에서 자유롭게 이동할 수 있습니다. 이 네 명의 선교사들은 이제 교회, 주택, 농장, 학교를 지을 땅을 찾는 거대한 과제에 직면해 있습니다. 아이티는 인프라가 너무 부족해 거의 모든 것-콘크리트, 식량, 심지어 닭까지도-을 도미니카공화국에서 수입을 해야합니다. 일시적으로 정착하면, 그들은 가족을 데려올 예정이며, 모두 아홉 명인데 그중에는 한 살 된 여자 아기도 있습니다.

그들이 도착하자마자 가장 먼저 한 일은 무릎을 꿇고 기도하는 것이었다고 문자를 보내왔습니다—아이티를 하나님께 올려드리는 것이었습니다. 그 메시지는 제 마음을 깊이 울렸습니다.
저는 이 젖먹이 선교사들을 위해 울고 또 울고 있습니다. 그들이 겪을 고난을 잘 알고 있습니다. 앞으로 닥칠 영적 싸움을 알고 있습니다. 하지만 하나님께서 직접 그들을 훈련시키고 보호하며 믿음을 강화하실 것도 알고 있습니다. 그들을 만나고, 훈련시키고, 함께 지낼 수 있어서 정말 축복받았다고 생각합니다.
모든 영광을 하나님께 돌립니다. 기도해 주셔서 감사합니다.
